Tremendous. The most professional, friendly and knowledgeable company we've worked with. Allen is able to explain complex issues in a way that's easy to understand, and gave us several options to decide between. He's not a seller - he understood what we wanted done, and did it flawlessly. Wouldn't work with anyone else!

Twelve years ago, we wanted to switch our electric heat to baseboard hot water. A general contractor that we had worked with recommended Riquier. Allen Riquier did a great job of designing a 4-zone system for our house and running the piping through the house, even upstairs for two of the zones. Over the years since, we have called them for every plumbing job; a leaky valve in the basement, a leaking faucet, problems with water service, etc. Riquier has always been prompt and courteous! The house is left clean and tidy. If there are different options in solving the problem, they are outlined and discussed. My husband and I are both mechanical engineers, and Allen Riquier knows his stuff! He can always explain what is going on and what his plan is to fix it. I highly recommend Riquier Plumbing to my friends, and to you too. This is an honest, knowledgeable locally owned and operated business that works hard to keep customers satisfied!

Condensation pump went on our AC handler. The part was $89 at Home Depot and they were here for 45 minutes. We were charged $500 for a 45 minute job because they “charge $250 just to show up at your house”, but conveniently do not tell you this until they finish your service. We will Never use this company again. Response- 1. If the $250 charge to show up is not correct, then one of your technicians flat out lied. 2. It does not take 3 people to do this job. 3. You always clean out the lines when you replace this pump, and a CO2 cartridge is very inexpensive, as are the chlorine tablets your technician said he put in. 4. I have yet to receive said breakdown of our bill, and you were incredibly rude on the phone when I tried to explain this situation. 5. We just purchased this home 8 months ago, which was built in 1991, so yes the pipes were filthy, as would be expected. As I stated, rather politely at first, it is Absolutely Unreasonable to charge $350+ for a 45 minute service (that is granting you $150 in parts, which there absolutely were not).
Response from the owner
Jessica, as I mentioned to you on the phone, I think you should at least allow our company to be able to provide you with a more detailed description of what was done for you. We NEVER said "charge $250 just to show up at your house" because that's not what we charge. You were charged for the hour our 3 technicians were at your residence servicing your HVAC system. And as you mentioned that you are in the contract business, you should also know that until a technician (licensed) gets into the unit, there is no way to know what is actually going on. I also told you on the phone that I would provide you with a detailed description (in writing) of what exactly our Technicians did while at your residence.....maybe then you will realize that it wasn't just changing out your condensate pump....Because if we did just that, your filthy, clogged drain lines and completely blocked condensate pan would have just caused the new condensate pump to burn out. So, instead of just changing out the pump, we also serviced your HVAC system - cleaned it so it will not only not burn out your new pump, but also work more efficiently. I will still provide you with a complete, detailed write-up via email, but thought your review warranted an immediate - more correct outline of what occurred - response.
