  Working with Roger and his crew was a pleasure. When he arrived to look at the job (finishing our basement) he was professional and thorough in his assessment. His crews were friendly and respectful of our property. The workmanship was excellent. We had framers, electricians, plumbers, drywallers, carpenters, painters, and HVAC services. Everyone (including inspectors) was scheduled by Roger and his team. I received almost daily calls from Roger giving me updates on the next phases of the project. Communication and expectations rank high with me and RD Schuller ranks an excellent 10 out of 10!!

  I was trying to get a quote for fixing some problem for my house. First thing they talk to me is they need a $100 cash first to come out. And it has to be cash only... I gave him the cash, he took a look at the house and then he said he will write up the proposal. Never asked me what I need/want to fix exactly. The proposal came back with only 4 sentences related to the project for my house. No details or plan at all. And a full page of payment terms. I don't think they care about what I want to happen to my house, they only care about the money.

  You called and wanted an estimate on your 100 year old house that had uneven floors. I gave you an 4 line estimate on how to fix it with my 47 years of experience. From my past expertise we have to charge $100.00 because all people want to do with things like this is learn how to fix it and go ahead and use someone else to do the work. When you start talking about plans and detail, it would've been much more than $100.00 to have an engineer or architect look at it, and that would be at least $1,000.00 or $2,000.00 ballpark. I'm sorry that you're unhappy with my company but I'm not sure what more I could've done as far as what we agreed upon. On my 4 line estimate I believe its more than reasonable and I invite you to call other companies and compare my cost for the remodel job, as we typically get a high percentage of jobs we bid. Going to back to the $100.00 fee I actually waive that payment when customers go ahead and do the work through my company, but it sounds like I was correct to charge the fee upfront.   Roger and his crew are top notch! I had Roger come to my house to look at a ceiling in my garage that needed to be repaired due to some previous water damage. This was just two days before my house went on the market, and I figured I would have to show my house with the large gaping holes in my ceiling. Although I know he and his crew were busy, he absolutely insisted that he get someone in to get it repair ASAP so it could be complete before our showings. Roger went out of his way to get this project done and done right over the next two days. The ceiling looked great...and we sold in one day:) . I would highly recommend this company!
