Had a terrible experience with Quality heating in Minocqua, WI. First, our furnace went out on a Sunday. It is 33 minutes from Quality Heating to our home. We were charged $200 each way, (because the tech lived an hour away )and $200 for a tech to get our furnace started. (that lasted for 3 hours) $600 FOR NOTHING. Crazy. Then the next day we were told that it would be $1800 to replace the heat exchanger that was under warrantee with a 4 hour labor allowance, Really!! They had to get the parts and build it in their shop. That maybe we should think of replacing the furnace, Really!! Next, they would not be able to fix it till probably next week. So we have no heat and they probably cant get to it for 10 days in a 2,700 square foot house with it below zero at night. Quality talked us into replacing our 7 year old furnace in 2014. Now they want us to do it again. (NOT THIS TIME) Called Badger Heating in Bolder Junction. They were wonderful. They got to the house that day and got the furnace running until they can replace the heat exchanger at the end of the week. The tech called me and explained everything. I will never call Quality Heating again. Stay away from Quality heating in Minocqua, WI.

Great experience with Quality Heating. Had a problem with the condensate pump. Jeff came out next day and was very professional and knowledgeable. Cost was more than fair. Highly recommend them.

This Company was the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with in my years. I had a problem with a thermostat in my cabin, our management company called them to do the repair. They sent a tech to do this work and I paid $400.00 for two hours to rewire a thermostat only to find out later it was wired it incorrectly. I asked them back out to look at it after our management company said the AC pump started when it was put in the fan mode. When an different technician from the same company came out a year later, he informed us it was wired wrong and the AC pump was no good. Not sure if that had anything to do with the pump going out? They proceeded to send a bill for another service call for the thermostat when I refused to pay that bill they accused me of tampering with the wiring! Now that we have refused to pay the bill they are attempting to do the end around move by calling our management company and threaten them that they will not come to any service work at the whole resort if I refuse to pay this bill! Our management company feels in the middle because they did not make the call for service. These guys in the service department are unprofessional and will go to any length to get that $100.00. I've been the Owner in a Service Business for over 20 years and never treated a costumer this way. I do regret the slightly heated conversation I had with the service manager after he accused me of tapering with the wiring. Beware of this company!
