We needed to replace our hot water heater.  We called ProTech Mechanical discussed what type of water heater would work best for our needs and agreed to move forward.  They arrived on-time and from the start of installation to the completion of the work, the gentlemen were professional,  very skilled, polite and extremely clean. I called them because I had two toilets in my new (old) house, and both were not working.  They came quickly and were able to have one person come an hour and a half out of town to do the work.  While I paid for the travel time - it's a union shop - it worked out well and saved the costs of extra people.  The plumber was excellent and very thorough, and did two big jobs and then some small ones.  Now I have two working toilets, no leaking faucets and everything is tight and running smoothly.  They travel around the state and that is smart, as so many people in outlying areas need good quality work.  They definitely fit that.  And the bill, even with the travel time and charges was still reasonable.  I was grateful for the work.  Thank you !

Was referred to them because they are a Carrier installer. 2 year old install and ac compressor went out. Was told it was out of warranty and they were on the spot with price for selling me a new unit.  Contractor that originally installed it called Carrier(even though he is not a Carrier dealer anymore) and they sent a new compressor. You need to fix what your represent and not try to sell replacements for products that are under warranty

We always appreciate feed back Troy & we are truly sorry that your experience wasn’t satisfactory. However, we must say this is incorrect. You originally reached out to us on 05/03/21 regarding a request to have a warranty compressor installed on a unit that you stated to us was only 2 years old; you stated the person or company who installed it does not do Carrier anymore and not able to make the repairs. When our technician arrived on site, we diagnosed the compressor failure and went through proper procedure and got in touch with our vender for Carrier here in Billings, MT. Our vendor & Carrier stated the unit was 6 years old with a 5-year warranty according to the data plate & we would need proof of install date in order to warranty it. You were not able to provide that proof and we provided you with both options, which is our duty. We gave you the option to provide the documents needed for warranty submittal forms or option two an out-of-pocket cost to replace the compressor should you not be able to provide the required credentials.  We provided you that information on 05/06/21. We also called on 05/27/21, 07/15/21 & 07/29/21 to attempt to rectify the situation. Again, we apologize that this is not the answer you may want to hear, unfortunately we have protocols that must be followed in order to obtain warranty.

The techs were fast and detailed. Our water heater literally blew up and they came out within a week to install a new one. The techs worked fast and provided updates throughout the process.

The after hours emergency tech Mitch, came to my house to snake a drain after hours and got there quickly! He was professional and courteous! This isn't the first time my main drain has backed up but it was my first time using protech, not only were the cheaper, they had better communication and left no mess! I will use them for any needs I have moving forward!

When our main sewer line was backing up due to roots in the line, on a Sunday they didn't hesitate to come within 30 minutes. Kenny French was  professional and helpful. When he noticed that the cover and seal for the main line was too worn out and would probably leak, he went out of his way to get the part and came back after another call to replace it! He provided preventive care we could do so this doesn't happen again. The root issue has been one we have faced since we moved in and not one previous plumber had ever told us what we can do to keep the roots out. I can also say for Sunday, rates they were really reasonable. I would recommend these guys to everyone!!! They saved our day and basement!!

I have used ProTech several times and been very happy.  When I bought my new house, I had them look at the existing furnace which was old.  They were honest and told me it was functioning fine.  They did not push a new furnace on me.  They installed my garbage disposal in the kitchen, cleaned the old furnace at my new house, and helped me light the hot water heater when I could not figure it out.  They were always quick to the work done.  They have been very honest and helpful.  Prices were fair and work was quality.  I recommend them highly.  You can trust their work and their integrity!
