  If I could give no stars I would. Do not.... I repeat do not use this company for anything. Precision was contracted to re-place my furnace by my home warranty company. It was the worst experience. It took them forever to even get out and get it installed and then I had to call them back several times because of issues. Since my heating unit was installed in June I didn’t take the time to even make sure that the heater working(no need for a Heater in Texas in June) I was just over this company. Well it is now November and I have tried to turn it on and it wouldn’t come on. I called the company and ask them if they could come out and make sure everything is hooked up correctly. The receptionist proceeded to tell me that I needed to contact my home warranty company or pay them an $80 diagnostic fee. I end up calling the home warranty company and they dispatched another Company(LEE A/C and Electric:ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!) to come out and assess the situation. The guy was there for less than 10 minutes only to find out they hadn’t even turned the unit on. He took two screws off took the front face plate off and quickly said “well it might would work if they did turn the switch on.” I contacted precision air got the same secretary who was completely nonchalant about my concerns. Her response was “I don’t know what to tell you”. I called the home warranty company and asked them to consider taking them off the list of contractors. Now after reading some of these reviews I see I’m not the only one. I will never suggest anyone use this company and I will never use them again. Beware steer clear of Precision!

  Very poor service! Had a brand new unit installed and broke down twice in one year! The second time I was forced to wait weeks without a correct diagnosis! Let alone the problem solved! Called another company Strickland plumbing, problem was fixed within hours! Very unprofessional, way behind on schedule, and once they install your ac they will not uphold their warranty!!!!! DO NOT SHOP HERE!

  BEWARE of Precision Air and Darian Allred from Lufkin / Hudson. We bought our house and the inspector suggested that it may need a new evaporator coil because of excessive water being made by the AC unit. The home warranty people sent Darian Alred from Precision Air. Mr Alred came out and looked at our units. He said that the units were low on freon and he charged them up. He then told us that he would come up with some prices and get back to us first thing the next morning. And that we owed him $111 for the freon. We paid him and he left. I called Precision office trying to contact Mr Alred the next morning. His secretary answered I asked very nicely to have him call me ASAP. My wife had also been contacted by the warranty people to make sure that Precision had come out. She said yes and told them what he did and how she paid him $111 for freon. They got furious. The warranty people told us that we were not supposed to pay for anything. So in the mean time the warranty people called Mr Allred and told him that he was not doing business correctly. Warranty people pay him not the homeowners. So Mr Allred called my wife at home and proceeded to tell her how I was rude to his secretary and how she should not have told the warranty people that we paid him. He then proceeded to tell my wife that it was going to cost us $2200 to fix everything on our AC unit. He said that he was going to show that it was a preexisting condition. Then he let her know that if he does show it like that on his report that we would have to pay for all of the cost involved because the warranty people would not cover pre existing conditions. So my wife called me crying explaining that she was griped out by this old man Darian Allred. And proceeded to tell me all that he said. We ended up calling another AC tech from a completely different company. He came out and found that Mr Allred had not even looked at the evaporator coil. I watched the new AC tech cut into the unit so that he could remove the cover in order to even see the evaporator coil. If Mr Allred had done this, the new tech would have been able to remove the cover without having to cut anything. Mr Allred From Precision Air in Lufkin /Hudson was trying to take advantage of me and my family. He was trying to get paid by us and by the warranty company. On top of that he was about to charge us $2200 to fix a bunch of stuff that did not need to be fixed. We ended up paying the second AC tech $125 to fix our AC. Not $2200.
