Power Services just came out to fix my generator. The automatic transfer switch had not worked in years and recently the battery had died. The tech arrived on time, knew exactly what to do, fixed both problems for a reasonable fee. I only wish I had discovered this company five years ago when I purchased my generator. I had to contact the gas company for a referral to a company that would dig the gas line, I then had to search for an installer who would then interface with the gas line installer, etc. etc. Power Services does it all. We are so relieved to have found someone who knows exactly what they are doing!

We had a service contract with Power Services to service a generator for our business. On more than one occasion they would miss appointments to repair our generator or take weeks to get the proper parts. We would expect them to show up at a scheduled time and no one would arrive. We had to reach out to them to find out why (parts delayed, wrong part shipped, etc.) Lots of excuses from this company with very little to show for it. We've canceled our contract with them and will find someone competent to handle our generator.

I used this company to install a 22k Generac Generator in my home. They claimed they were a certified dealer as well as certified techs and would do the job from A to Z to include burying a 500 gallon propane tank in my yard. It took them three months to get the job done and the propane company had to actually come out themselves to fix the mess this company made when they themselves buried the tank. Once all was done it was then three more months of tech visits because the generator was not working properly. Plus the last visit they were here they left it torn apart inside saying they needed to order more parts to get it working. This made the 5th time this unit had been torn down to try get it running? I waited a week to hear if the parts they thought necessary had arrived yet and after two days of trying to get hold of them via phone calls and email and more disgust because I had already endured 6 months of very poor communication with them I decided to call Generac direct . Once I caught Generac up to speed they highly recommended someone else in my area to take over. They also told me they weren't aware of who Power Services even was? The new tech that came out was AWESOME. He put the unit back together and it started right up via no parts ordered aside from a new battery because Power Services pulled the fuses in the electrical box but left the wires connected to the generator killing the battery. And if that's not bad enough via what the new tech saw, Generac is now reviewing the location of my generator because it's not 5 feet away from the house plus there's a vent on my house in that area that is only 4 feet away from the generator AND the exhaust side of the generator is only about a foot away from my wooden steps that come down off my back deck. Fire hazard? Exhaust hazard via that vent? No way in hell do I recommend this company. If I could I wouldn't even give them a one star rating !!!!
