I called them during off office hours looking for a condenser fan motor. Asked me a couple questions and offered me to meet him at the store in 30 minutes. Brought the motor in and he did a bench test and said the motor is good. Said it more than likely the compositor. I picked one up and were good to go. Thank you!

Jim, thank you for the review. We appreciate it!

Horrible service and two-plus years of ongoing problems, which are still not fixed. They installed a high-efficiency furnace in an unheated garage without proper drainage against manufacturer recommendations. This results in most of the garage floor being flooded and covered with ice in the winter. They came out several times to fix and each fix made the problem worse. On multiple occasions I had to make several calls to them in order to get them to respond. My messages often ended up in a black hole. Ultimately, they said it was my problem to deal with. Go elsewhere with your money.

Three years ago I would have given them four stars. Something changed. When we called to have them come repair a broken humidifier on a furnace they installed, we had to wait more than a week for them to come and fix it. When the repairman arrived on Monday he said it needed to be replaced ($750) and demanded a $250 "deposit" to come back out on Friday, which was cashed. No call-no show on Friday. No call-no show on Saturday and no call-no show on Sunday. We called them on Monday, only to be told "I'm not at the office. I need to call you tomorrow morning". Tuesday morning (check cashed abd five days later mind you!)...no call. My wife calls and the woman who answers the phone has never heard of us. Says they will call back. I'm fed up at this point so I call and demand politely but firmly to speak with the manager on duty or the owner. I'm told there is nobody in. I start to leave my name and explain the situation. The woman on the phone says "Oh! One moment." At this point I lose my temper... "NOW there is someone in???" Wondering how often people are put off by this woman, the way my wife was earlier today. She asks me to hold and Dan gets on and says "the check is in the mail, I don't need you calling and yelling at my people." I don't want to call you at all, I want you to do what you say you are going to do. You haven't done that for 5 days. So he says that "it's just a humidifier, we are busy and have other customers that don't have heat". Dan, even if that is true, take a lesson from people who understand customer service and CALL THEM. If there is such a furrnace crisis any sane person would understand, but you created this issue with your horrible customer service and I now have no reason to trust you or your business ever again. My advice? Don't take a chance on Pierce Refrigeration.

We apologize for the frustration and confusion this service call has caused. We came out to look at your humidifier and furnace as soon as we could. This time of year generates a lot of “no heat” service calls which take priority over calls that do have heat. Because you had heat, this call was scheduled after our no heat calls. Our repair man came out on October 25th and determined that you were in need of a new humidifier. We did not charge you for the service call, however we did ask for a deposit for the new humidifier we were to replace. We realize that there was a miscommunication between the technician and our office as far as scheduling a follow up appointment that Friday to replace the humidifier, and we are very sorry for the frustration that caused. We value all feedback, and plan to learn from this experience. We appreciate each and every one of our customers, and we apologize that you were not pleased with your experience.
