  Cannot recommend strongly enough. These guys came out and installed a new AC and heat pump unit and fixed what the other guys screwed up on our furnace at a very reasonable cost. Just had them out again to check on the system and I'm really impressed with their work and the whole team at Phelps. Plus the dogs like them, so they've gotta be good people.

  We had a Lennox system installed in our home by PH&C and it has been the worse investment we ever made. Installed poorly from the beginning. They had to come back several times due to extremely high air or heating bills. The unit has lost coolant at least 4 times and we were charged $45 pound to refill each time. Equipment holds 14 pounds! PH&C would charge $45 a pound for 401 coolant while other HVAC charged $25. No one else we called would touch equipment since PH&C is sold and installed by them. Had to also replace thermostat, compressor as well. Technician’s are friendly and like conversation but every other one that came to my home had to fix the previous technicians work. They break more then they fix and PHC takes no responsibility so we continually have to keep paying for repairs. Office personnel will not return any previous funds even if they are at fault but they will ask you if you want to purchase another unit. Our experience has been terrible from the beginning so why we would we want more of the same. We are very displeased with service and Lennox brand. They have continually claimed to fix and the same issue arrives a few days later, you are charged again-no refund policy. Save yourself and your checkbook!

  Initially came out to service my unit, which was blowing only slightly cooled air. Advised my unit had a leak and could be repaired, but due to its age would be a risky and costly decision. After an amazing quote, we decided to replace the unit. There is a constant backorder of units and parts due to the pandemic, but a week later we got the call that our unit was in and would be installed the next day! 8 a.m. and the job began, a few hours later we were back in business with cold air! Thank you Phelps for once again proving you're a great company. Highly recommend them.
