Tom M stopped by this morning to service my furnace and was a pleasure to work with. He did an incredibly thorough job cleaning our flues and kept me in the know with everything he was doing. A true professional. Would recommend PFO to anyone.

Quick and professional response to my request for service- thankfully same day!! My baseboard heater wasn’t heating due to an air lock in the pipes. We had no heat in the whole upstairs! Ron, the heating specialist called prior to arriving at my home, on time. He quickly went to work and had my system fixed in no time. Ron and Princeton Fuel are professional, knowledgeable, polite, conscientious, and expeditious. The only company I will ever call for all my heating and cooling needs. Thank you for being there everytime I need service.

Called this company because they are a certified installer of a particular uncommon hvac system that a client has in a home they are purchasing. Access to this property is limited because the home is occupied by the seller and their availability is limited. As the General renovation contractor on this home renovation project we contacted Princeton Fuel in order to get an estimate to replace this particular hvac unit. As Princeton Fuel is a certified installer of this particular system. The sales representative who called us back told us he wouldn’t estimate the job and they do not do work for builders. I explained to him we are not new home builders and that we perform general contracting company and we management all our clients renovation loans as we are normally the prime contractor especially for FHA 203K loans. We ensure the work gets done and everyone is paid. We even attempted to explain we are the last to be paid on projects and ensure the other trades, electrician, plumbers, hvac companies are paid in full first. I explained we pay deposits and the remaining balance day the job is complete and inspection is passed for the particular trade. Ensuring this company has nothing to worry about. The salesman didn’t want to hear anything we had to say and refused to listen. He kept insisting and assuming we are new home builders when we are not. I can understand this companies concern of not getting paid from builders, who may close their doors or do not sell properties and run out of funds, however this is not that situation, and we are not new home builders. Nevertheless I’m not sure if their salesman understands what and FHA 203k loans is and how they are listed as a subcontractor on the documents for the the project to ensure it is recorded and they are paid. Also it appeared the salesman didn’t want to hear it when all we were trying to do was make sure they understood we were not builders. Why we asked to speak to a manager or the owner the salesman proceeded to end the conversation and hang up on us. There are very few companies in NJ, or companies nearby in PA who are also licensed to perform HVAC in NJ that are certified and understand the complexities of this particular HVAC system. Unfortunately this company who is only a few miles away from the home our client is purchasing didn’t want to assist. Even if they didn’t want to do the project because they are uncomfortable with dealing with other contractors the least they could have don’t would have been to show some common courtesy and professional courtesy. Communication and understanding is important and I hope as a company Princeton Fuel feels the same way. Sorry for this communication breakdown but not sorry for the bad review. Just like you we are trying to help and take care of the general public and our clients as well. Would have liked to partner with you on this project. Unfortunately this first experience was a negative one.

Dear TruHomes, We were extremely disappointed after reading how we managed to not set your expectations with our phone conversation. Again, we apologize, but we are just not prepared or set up to execute the request you made with our Home Comfort Specialist. If our protocols change in the future we will reach out to you directly.
