  My thermostat told me my heat pump had quit working. I called Perry because they installed the furnace. They sent out two techs who were her 40 minutes. They thawed the heat pump and told me that I really had not needed to call for service. I received the Bill for $255. When I called due to the bill being ridiculously high for the revive I received I was told that the $50 was just to come out. (Which I wasn’t told about when I called) and $200 was a flat rate for what they did. This let me know to never use them again. I had used Elton Elec before to put in a fan and they only charged $60 an hour and no show up fee. So I now know who to call in the future and who to refer my friends too. Perry literally rips people off.

  I'm sorry you feel that way. We are a "flat rate company" and don't work by the hour. We don't always get it explained right and a lot of people don't understand our costs. I'm not going to go into a complete explanation of flat rating, it is what all car repair and body shops use. They started the system and it works, but it is not perfect. We just want to be here for you to call next time and we have to make ends meet or we will not be here. We are trying for a 10% net profit to survive or we need to go home as we are hurting the industry. Hope this helps, we are good people trying to do the best we can for all of customers. thanks!
