Hello my name is Darius Williams I will be surrendering my PUREBREAD  Catahoula leopard dog tomorrow at the Picayune Mississippi animal shelter
He is seven months up-to-date on all his shots very well taken care of submissive great family dog I’m Deploying back to the army Saturday night I really want him to go to a good home hopefully for me posting this on here will get someone attention I have pictures of him as well he’s a great dog last people I don’t wanna have to go but I have no choice if someone is interested in him just reply back here and I’ll be checking throughout the day God bless

Great people doing a tough job for the good of the creatures. Adopt don't shop! And if you say to yourself, "I don't need an/another animal' - That maybe true...BUT... . Maybe the animal NEEDS YOU!  I'm now the Happy owner of a Lil Black Magic! And You could be as lucky as me- go see! 🐈‍⬛💜

Went over there for the yard sale they host. Didn't get photos of everything but they have a big selection of items. Found a few nice things I wanted and some I needed they accept cash and credit/debit cards. Also checked out the pet food  bank and got my dogs hooked up with some kibble for about a month. Also gave me some treats for the doggies.

We have adopted two puppies from PRCSPCA.  Murphy and Esther.  Both dogs were puppies at the time of adoption.  There is a lot of paperwork but in the end it’s all good.  Esther and Murphy were a great addition to our four-legged family

The SPCA does a great job taking care of these bundles of fur while they are waiting for a home.

My family found 3 homeless 6 mo old puppies and housed them overnight, until the shelter opened on Tuesday. They accepted all three. The female needed vet care, which they took care of immediately. Good experience helping the homeless get to safety.

A rural country shelter doing the best they can with the resources they have in an area where there are way too many irresponsible people that let their dogs wander, multiply unchecked instead of getting them fixed, or just dump them everywhere when they no longer want them. Their job wouldn't be so hard if people would take responsibility for their pets!

If you want a smaller dog you have to pay for a raffle and win for an opportunity to see if the animal is right
They are literally selling raffle tickets in order to adopt “more desirable” (their words) animals.

I got so discouraged with all these rescue services and weeks of waiting on applications, waiting for approval, and unbelievably high rehoming fees. Then I  found PRSPCA in Picayune! So worth the drive from Lacombe! l found a pup online, set.up meeting,  fell in love, and took her home with all medical records. Kindest,  sweetest staff! This is how you rehome animals. This is how they find forever homes fast, with very little time in kennnels. These other places seem more interested in fosters than forever homes. My baby is chipped, has shots, hw treated, and neutered. She was born in January, turned over in February and in a loving, forever home in March. Now THAT'S  the way to do it! LOVE THESE PEOPLE!

Very helpful trying to find the perfect surprise for my wife they answered all my questions and was very nice in doing so also helped me with trying to find the gift my wife was looking for great people with a gift for helping others and animals alike hope this helps people with finding there new additions to there families

Staff is very friendly and helpful  we adopted Argos who was brennan they helped me pick out the perfect puppy for my family I give them 5 stars they spend time with the animals  and play with them they do there best :)
