The negative reviews listed here do not in anyway reflect our experience with Pearl. Pearl went out of their way to help us with a furnace issue no one else could solve. After dealing with two reputable companies, we were referred to Pearl by the second company because they specialize in high efficiency furnaces. They were able to solve the problem on their first trip. They were professional, courteous, and downright friendly. Our experience was such that we are now lifelong customers.

The word of mouth is our only source of advertising. I thank each and every customer. Again Thanks

Fairly recently we were in the process of buying another home and upon the inspection discovered that the floor ducts/vents were collapsing although the furnace was fine. Repairing the floor ducts would have required tearing up the floor and foundation ($15K plus). At that point we considered walking away. To make bad things worse, it was discovered , the swamp cooler was on its last leg and would need to be replaced. We had a very "short runway" to try to close the deal as the sellers were anxious to move the property. We made a call to Pearl Mechanical and Al Trujillo (owner) came out to assess immediately. Our minds were set on buying this property but didn't want to incur any significant additional expenses. Al in his observations provided a solution that the sellers and we could agree on. Al and his son Matt could install a Coleman HVAC (all in one) unit in place of the old swamp cooler, and could tie in to the ducts in the ceiling. And well below the price we would have incurred replacing floor ducts and a new swamp unit. It wasn't more than two days and Pearl (owner and company's namesake) called to schedule the install in just one week. This was a big part of saving us from walking away from the purchase of the home. We continue to receive exceptional, affordable and prompt service from Al, Pearl and Matt. Locally owned with a corporate/franchise look and feel We highly recommend Pearl Mechanical. D. Gutierrez, PGA Professional

I was recommended by family that this company is reputable but they are not. Initially they gave me an estimate which was outrageous (over a grand) so I decided to buy most of the parts they recommended. They did tell me the parts were not "guaranteed". So I bought the water heater, gas line, expansion tank and the few other parts they said I needed. In the end, they did not confer with me about those new parts I bought and they only used the water heater I bought at Lowe's but not the new parts (their choice) It seemed like they were trying to save me money, which I appreciated, but now my water heater is leaking from the top. The owner Al, came out, tightened it and said it should never leak again. It did, so I called him again and he said he would come out and fix it. This was 2.5 weeks ago, (water heater is still leaking all this time BTW) NEVER said "Oh by the way, we are charging you labor plus the part." I assumed since they did not use the new parts I bought, that that was on them. I called him and tried to work it out. I told him that when I called him the second time he did not tell me upfront he was charging me labor and that I needed to buy the new part. He decides to call me two days BEFORE to say, "Oh btw, I am charging you labor and parts." I did not appreciate him not being upfront, assumed since they did not use the new parts I bought, that that was on them. Nooooooo, I was sadly mistaken. This company IMO is all about the $$ and not good customer service. Now I have to call someone else to come out and do the job they SHOULD have done in the first place! I am so disappointed because they came highly recommended. Don't try to reason with Al the owner either, because he will try to make you feel like it is your fault, he will raise his voice and yell at you, he even had the audacity to say to me, "Oh, I knew you would say that" as if the situation was my fault, when clearly, it is not. He has so much business right now his only concern is making that dough and not great customer service. I do not recommend this company. ***In response to the below reply now 3 years later. I understand that old parts need to be replaced; what I was upset about is that I never received a call that explained that or the fact that your company decided on it's own to finish the job the way you did, without giving the homeowner (myself) any information at all or the decision to let you push forth and finish the work. I spent a lot of money buying the parts and in the end, your company did not use much of what I bought, instead I feel like you just did what YOU wanted without including me, the homeowner. Next time, communicate with your customers that way we know what work you will be doing. **Also it took this company now several years to realize the quality service they say they offer to everyone has been going down in form of reviews on the internet for everyone to see. I got a call from the owners son several years later saying his parents (Al and Pearl) didn't know about reviews and how the internet can work against their business. While the son apologized for what happened in my case, it seems only now are they trying to save their reputation because oooo it's on Google review. It looks like I'm not the only one who had had trouble with this company. If you are one who is satisfied with their service then kudos to you đź‘Źđź‘Źđź‘Ź because I guarantee that there will be a point that if you work with them again, they will screw you over like they did me and the other gentleman who worked for them. It sounds like it was good he got out while he did and no wonder he was looking for another job, that says it all!!

      Response from the owner

All equipment, is made of many parts. Once it gets to 10-years of use. Customers need to choose on ether repair or replace. It hurts to spend on repairs then something else breaks.
