Chase was an incredible man. Every company needs employees like Chase, kind, professional and explained everything he was doing and why. He did quality work. We definitely will be using Norstar for some other work we need to have done. Thanks for the fantastic service

The Short Version: Norstar has terrible customer service. The Long Version: Norstar installed ductless mini splits in a new duplex build for us this past year. They were difficult to deal with during the install process, and they had to come back at least once because one of the units was installed incorrectly. Several months later, both units started having issues and needed service. This is where things really got frustrating. Norstar has, hands down, THE WORST customer service and maintenance scheduling system I have ever encountered. It took a month for someone to come out and look at the (brand new) units that had stopped working properly. They requested that we be there when the technician showed up, but they wouldn't provide a time, or even a time window, when they would arrive. They don't coordinate between their office staff and technician, so you'll get a call from dispatch confirming that a technician will be there at 9:45am, and then a few minutes later get a call from the technician saying he'll be there at 11:45. After the first service call, they determined that we'd need a part and another service visit, and it took another month to get that scheduled, despite it being winter and the units being the only heat source (and remember, these are brand new units). More scheduling difficulties ensued on the second visit. This wasn't a one time issue where somebody had a bad day. This is how they operate, and its a shame. No reliability, no accountability, and terrible service- a good way to get a bad rep in a small town. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere.

Had an emergency furnace fix. Chase was timely, knowledgeable, professional, and did a great job answering all of my questions. Would recommend!
