Nice little museum, focuses mostly on the earthquake and civil war battle.  Man working the desk was very helpful

Very nice museum. Great film and exhibits. We could spend an entire day and still have more to see. Definitely worth the trip into town

This is a really cool place to say you were there. There is a small museum that you must go through.  It had a lot of things to look at and take pictures of.

Worth a visit, interesting history that makes you think about the past and the future.

I saw the museum three years ago, but only had time for a quick visit to the river, this time. Standing on an actual earthquake fault line is pretty fascinating.

Loved this! Our guide was really friendly, the videos were short, but informative, and the displays were excellent. If you have small children, this is perfect because the museum is not large. You can go through fairly quickly and still take away a lot from it.

Did not  visit the museum on this trip. But the landscape is breathe taking.

Interesting museum, lots of info about the Great Quake which is why I went. Gift shop has some fun items! make sure you head to the river and walk the observation deck

Awesome view of the river, and the gentleman in the gift shop is very knowledgeable and inviting.
