  This was a great trip back in time! My daughter & I went to their fall festival and truly enjoyed it. We even came across a wooden replica of the Oskaloosa Bandstand that looked very familiar to me... And that's when I noticed the label on it that showed it was built by my Grandpa Robert H. Kerr! What a great surprise to see his work there!

  This is one of Iowa's hidden gems! A beautiful facility with a whole town and farm. Staffed by knowledgable volunteers who are excited to share their craft, stories, and history. I love visiting and so do my kiddos.

  This museum is an awesome place to take the kids. The kids are fascinated with the things that used to be even though they can't comprehend it well. History is important. They have a large hall on site that is perfect for renting. The volunteers are well educated in the facts of the original site and it's history.
