  Just wondering if you all have periodical meetings with local companies on their response after an event like our recent winter storm. Local families have not been able to find a plumber for broken water pipes or they are put off for weeks to get to them. I would like you guys to meet with local plumbers and get them to spread out their services to all in need instead of catering to landlords. Which in my opinion may be getting their rentals updated and charging it to disaster relief.

  Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, Navarro County OEM is not able to facilitate or direct local private sector business in how they respond. Our primary role is to facilitate individual assistance claims through disasterassistance.gov . None of the county agencies can direct how property owners file claims, only that they must follow state and federal guidelines.
