I am extremely happy with and grateful for Mountain Air. I have been having issues with my boiler. Eric goes above and beyond and has been absolutely wonderful with his knowledge, dedication and kindness. The office staff is always responsive and friendly. This is an honest company that will do everything they can to help without taking advantage of people. Without hesitation, I will always rely on them for my home’s heating and cooling needs.

I have been using Mountain Air for a couple of years. They are very dependable, honest and professional. I had another company check my heater and was told it needed $600 worth of repairs! Mountain Air came in a couple months later, did a thorough cleaning and inspected the heater. Did not find anything that needed immediate attention. They have earned my business and as a Realtor I am happy to add them to my list of recommended companies!!

I have used Mountain Air for routine maintenance for several years on my furnaces and AC units, but last night, a Sunday, the water heater stopped heating- was 12 years old but showed no signs of needing replacement. The answering service got me connected with the on call people do a head’s up was given for my urgent but not emergent, need. My house is under contract so needed a replacement water heater ASAP. By noon the next day I had a new water heater and there is no feeling of being gouged and taken advantage of for my urgent need- simply a job well done at a fair price and accomodating to my schedule.

Mountain Air Comfort Systems has been a great service company for me. They provide me with annual service to insure my heating and air conditioning is running at peak efficiency and they have provided quick service for emergency service related calls. I highly recommend this company.

Our Warranty company sent this company out to fix our furnace that was not working. The tech misdiagnosed our system 3 times. As a former fireplace, pellet stove and Pellet furnace tech the parts on a furnace are very similar. All the parts can be tested with a multimeter to see which part is not working correctly. The main board also flashes a code tu help you know what to test. First it was supposed to be a dirty filter. That did nothing. Then it was a Dirty cooling coil. Did nothing again. Then it was the High limit switch(easily testable with a multimeter). Did nothing again. Finally after two days it was the main board. Since it was Friday evening at this point and we where coming into single digit nights as a storm was coming. Had to have him do it on Saturday.  Charged us 1100.00 For a main board that costs 323.00 from a parts house. A 272% mark up(most hvac companies are 100% mark up.). Then charges is after hours fees and opening the stock room fee making the bill 1800.00. All this even though he miss diagnosed the system 3 times. Then called my warranty company today when they where open to find out he did not tell all that had happened and said it was lack of maintenance. Even though no greater airflow happened after all the cleaning. They are researching it and agree it is very questionable.  I would not advise anybody use a rip off company like this.

I am sorry you feel like Brad misdiagnosed, because he did not. Your evaporator coil was extremely dirty, which caused the furnace to run at consistently higher temperatures for an extended period of time. This gets worse as time goes, decreasing air flow and raising heat exchanger temperatures beyond their engineered parameters until the situation is remedied, or the main limit starts shutting the gas valve on and off to prevent excessive heat in the heat exchanger. Often times, when they switch on and off repeatedly over time, they fail and it's not uncommon to have the board follow.
The main limit in your furnace did eventually fail, and when it did, it took the main board out with it.
Keep in mind, your warranty company sent us out, and we have to follow their procedures.
Manufacturer's recommend annual maintenance to avoid these very sorts of problems, where one issue causes multiple failures. This is especially important when an evaporator coil is present.
Your check was never cashed, as it was not properly filled out, which we decided not to contact you about. We were hoping the warranty company would cover it, and they agreed to.
I am the owner, and have been since I opened over 25 years ago. We pride ourselves on honest business practices with your best interest in mind. If that weren't the case, we would have simply refused to work on your furnace, and only replaced at a much better profit margin for ourselves, but that's not how we do business.
I have spoken to Brad, and he is obviously concerned that you feel this way, but stands by his diagnosis.

I have used Mountain Air for a few years. They hav installed a tankless water heater, furnace, air conditioner and humidifier and also reworked some of my ductwork. They do a great job. Very knowledgeable crew and Dan is a good leader and seems to instill quality and pride in his people. I've had an issue with a dirty condenser that was beyond their control and Dan took care of it. I have recommended them to others and will continue to use them.

WOW!  They understand the importance of what they do.  I called because I had heard they are fair and will treat you right. My furnace was blowing cold air and it was going to be cold.  They sent Eric out within hours.  He immediately let me know what I needed and he had the parts there ready to go.  We got our heat back right away with no pressure sales. Eric was so courteous and didn't pressure me to buy anything I didn't need.  Great service.  Thank you so much!

Technician Brad was fantastic. Very friendly and explained everything that was going on since it was a difficult to solve problem. Would highly recommend. I also appreciated that he kept my wife up to date with what he was doing and where the problem could be since I was at work all day. He stayed late on valentines day and was very upbeat and friendly the whole time. Thanks Brad!

During a remodel, Mountain Air reworked/relocated our duct work and installed a humidifier.  Most recently we had them replace our air conditioner.  Everyone that has come to our home has been terrific - professional, friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful.  No hard sales, just plain old helpful.  I wouldn't ever use any one else!!

Dan is a very professional HVAC expert. Excellent communication and technical skills. We look forward to doing business with him and his firm.
