The candlelight luminary walk/ snowshoe  event was great. It was neat to see the winding trail all lit up! There was a campfire to warm up by, and the interpretive center was a treat also. Thanks to the staff for their hard work setting this up!

Nice rustic sites.  We had a male grouse near us that was doing his mating display thumping his chest with his wings.  So adorable!

Very green state park with such tall trees that you wouldn’t feel the heat while hiking around even in the peak summer sun.
It has many short hiking trails around which can be considered super easy so a good place for first time or novice hikers.
I think the attraction here is the 100 feet tall tower which provides the birds eye view of the entire park. You’re literally above the trees, and it’s mesmerizing when the cool breeze touches your face and the wind is in your hair…. It’s just blissful!!

Great park, hiking club trail was packed dirt/ gravel and hilly. The trail up to the fire tower was short. The fire tower itself seemed well maintained and offered beautiful views of the park and surrounding area

Great camper cabin 2 night stay. Very clean and each camp site is separated by trees so you have some space.

Playground is old and the interpretive center is only open Friday afternoons.  The water is so low right now there is no swimming area but the kayak and canoe rentals are still going.

Lots of trail options beyond landmark and the self guided interpretive trail of you pick up a park map. Hike club trail 3.4 miles took us 55&58 y/o 1hr 40 min. Lots of buzzy bugs and ticks. Use the good spray for this hike and check yourself. Very enjoyable otherwise.
