  I had Midwest repair a ball valve in my basement. The plumber arrived promptly at the scheduled time and got to work. But after 15 minutes told us he had to go get other supplies and left for an hour. When he got back he finished in about another 15 minutes. All I can say is that yes the ball valve was replaced properly... We had insulation on a neighboring pipe that was melted from him soldering the joint. It would have taken him 2 seconds to pull the insulation back. And then the worst part was a couple weeks later when I got the bill and they charged me for the full 1.5 hours! I can understand that you don’t carry every part in the truck for every possibility... but they knew exactly what he was coming to my house to replace. Throw a couple size options in the truck or at least be decent enough not to charge the customer for your wasted time!

  Steve from Midwest Plumbing installed a new toilet for me but failed to notice the toilet bowl didn't hold water and the tank leaked water. The Kohler toilet being defective is not the plumber's fault but I feel like he should have checked to make sure it worked and wasn't leaking before leaving. He did come back later the same day to replace the defective toilet and was in and out in just 22 minutes which was pretty impressive so I didn't even complain about being charged a second time for the same job. However, after the second install, the tank was still leaking water. So now I removed the leaking toilet, tore up the floor so everything can dry, and am looking for a new plumber.

  Isaac came out to install a new hose bib for us. Isaac was conscientious, hard-working, diligent and very respectful of our property. Isaac is extremely good at his work and takes great care to ensure that the job is done properly and to the customer's satisfaction. We will definitely use Midwest Plumbing again should the need arise.
