Our furnace stopped working at 8 PM and a quick Google search led me to Midwest Heating and Cooling which seemed to have great reviews along with 24 hour service. My call was quickly answered and handled and immediately assigned to a technician who arrived a couple of hours later after his other calls. He clearly explained to us the issue and though the cost to repair the furnace was higher than we expected (or hoped), it seemed in line with repair costs for that type of part and he also explained we could save money by having it fixed the following day, which we appreciated. We opted for the faster fix and our heat was back on within around 3 hours of our call. Great communication, easy to work with, and we are nice and warm once again! Thank you!

I had my furnace quit on the night of Jan 18, the coldest night of the year in Milwaukee. I call one company and got their emergency number and left a message, no one called back. When I called Midwest at 4am someone actually answered the phone and set up an emergency service call for that morning. Because of the number of calls, my appointment ended up being closer to 2pm, but Midwest called me twice about the delay and then Luke, the Midwest technician also called me a half hour before coming. Luke was very friendly, professional and courteous. He showed me the reason for my furnace failure, a failing gas valve. He clearly gave me all of the options available, the costs and time it would take to repair. As it turned out, he needed assistance from two other employees to assist with releasing the valve from the manifold, it's a 17 year old furnace. Once they assisted, it took very little time for Luke to finish the repair and I finally had heat. Luck also let me know about the twice yearly maintenance plan Midwest offers to prevent issues like I just went through. I did sign up and happy I did. Luke and Midwest get 5 stars from me. Honest, timely, professional and reliable...I'm sold!

I contacted Midwest about an estimate for replacing my furnace. John the Estimating Manager was the one that replied with a phone call and I was really surprised on how fast of a response he had – within 5 minutes of my submission (wow that was fast!) He made me feel comfortable on the phone. I ended up setting up an appointment for an estimator to come and evaluate my current furnace and give me a quote on the spot. The process was absolutely the best sales experience I ever had.
