  This is a heaven sent company. We had issues and needed duct work. Gave them a call on a Friday. Saturday there was out at my house. Check into the problems we was having. Gave a us an estimate of what was going on and what needed to be done. So we agreed to go with the work and have everything done that was needed. Mr. Jon McCartha the owner of the company is one of the most nicest and truthful,respectful,honesty and very professional man we have ever met.He and his worker came out on a Thursday and Friday the work was done and completed !!! I would highly recommend this company to many. Jon we would like to say to you. May the good Lord continue to bless you and the staff of Mid State Heating and Air.

  I recently had a neighbor ask us about this company because they knew we had used them 4 months ago. I pointed them to my review on Google only to discover they had had it taken down. So I'll repost. After they repaired my AC I discovered they overcharged us quite a bit. They used something called a "rescue motor" instead of OEM equipment and the mark up was astronomical. After they gave us the quote I asked if we could think it over. His response was ""I'll have to charge you more to come back"" but he had to leave to get the parts and come back anyway so that didn't make sense. The tech skated the line between courteous and curt. The only positive was the timely manner of the repair. Though I guess if I were taking advantage of people I wouldn't want to give them time to discover it either. At almost $800 an hour I guess anyone would be tempted. They were my first call because they displayed an ichtyhs on their commercial, how foolish of me. Edit: when the company responds with "you approved us overcharging you", not a great sign. 1. I wasn't told it would be a $100 generic motor. 2. I have no problem admitting I know nothing of HVAC. But, I trusted your company and you took advantage of that.

  Hello, Brandon. Our record indicates that you had approved the work, the cost of the repair, and the aftermarket parts that were installed, all prior to the work being done. Also, we do not touch any work until we receive the owner's approval. Since we had gotten your approval, we replaced the part and charged you for it.   Polite, quick communication, good options on units, great service, competitive prices. What more can you ask? Maybe a tick on the pricier side, but that only gives you peace of mind in the long run as far as I'm concerned.
