Never use this company they don't disclose things like trip fees , then they threaten me with a letter saying we will let a judge handle you not wanting to pay it. Wow I said nothing about not paying it but i did use fowl language in the background telling my wife to hang up on the repair guy when he started talking down to her, like she was a dumb woman and he was God . So hhmmm... was my trip charge of a $140.00 from Osceola to Creston made up or not . Another company was $ 95.00 . But no problem maybe karma will come around.

Maybe you should post the letter. It disclosed YOUR TEXT.... We were told you didn't call, the letter shows the caller ID.... She said we didn't tell her who we were, but we did, Again in her text.... She said she didn't give us the address.... again in the text, we told her we were in Osceola not Creston, she said she knew that. she wrote it, we didn't. We did not talk down to her, we said read Your Text, you wrote it, we didn't. We charge $ 75 for a service fee. So it was lower than it should have been, we thought we'd lighten it up a little.. Creston is over 1 hour away round trip. We charge $ 75 an hour. We had two guys in the truck and wasted over an hour to be told we weren't called. We thought we were helping you until she told us she called six other companies and we and another one were the only ones that answered. Mistakes happen, but we have time and expense involved. When we call to get service from Creston, to work on our Refrigerator, etc. they charge us $ 140.00 too. Sorry your upset. I cannot tell an employee, "gee they changed their mind so you don't get paid".... When we hear someone screaming words that can't be printed here, it becomes obvious you don't want to pay, we are not here to argue, that is why we have Judges. Apparently the local business' don't make you happy either? I read another business you said that had an attitude with you..... maybe they aren't the one with the attitude?

NO STARS! The owner of this company is very unprofessional, and incompetent. They never did any work on our home but proceeded to charge us a fee none the less. The "trip" charge that they billed us for was $140. (Creston to Osceola) This fee was NEVER disclosed to us prior to them arriving to our property, or EVEN that they had a "trip" fee. I have all of it in writing since our conversation was by text. This company then proceeded to mail us a letter threatening to take us to court for something that they legally MUST disclosure to consumers prior to starting a job. The letter was very condescending, and assumptive. Bad way to run a business!! Won't be recommending this company to anyone, ever. So sad that they believe they are "in the right".

Print the text please.... You forgot the part, where you were friendly until we told you someone else was already fixing your furnace. And the part where you said we didn't tell you who we were, but it's in the text, and the part you didn't give us the address,,,, which is in the text you sent also, and you didn't call us, which the caller ID clearly says your name. You were asked if you knew we were in Osceola and you said YES.... I understand your not happy, but we did what you requested of us, except fixing the furnace because someone else was already doing it. But you are the one that said to go. We didn't do it on our own. When you call someone out, they will want paid. It's not a race, first one there wins. Sorry you don't understand that. We did not talk down to you, we said read the text we didn't say it, you did. But we don't need cussed at, because we showed up, where you told us too. Is this the incompetent part? You have my permission to Print the letter and the text... And the night before when you asked if we went there you were told there was an extra charge for going clear to Creston. Thanks.

I have used Mid Iowa Heating & Air for many years. The personel are all very dependable, they arrive when they tell you, they are very up front with charges and deliveries. This company is very knowledgeable and competent in all the work they do. They even go above and beyond to try to get the customer the best at a reasonable price. I highly recommend them for all heating and cooling needs. I have never heard anything negative from them and they treat each customer with the utmost respect and dignity.
