  I'm not saying that Melton's is a bad place as they've certainly been here for a long time but my only experience dealing with them was no good. I have an old 8,000 btu window unit that messed up. The button to turn up the temperature got stuck so if you turned it down it turned itself right back up. I dropped it off at Melton's and paid the $35. The next day they called me to tell me that the button wasn't stuck but the control panel was bad and they could get me a new one for $140. I told them no and I went and picked it up. I got it home and I know nothing about air conditioners. I got a screwdriver and went to take the front off when I noticed there was dust in the screw holes which means Melton's never even looked into it. I took the front off and fixed the button myself with absolutely no experience at all and it only took about 5 minutes. Thank you Melton's for ripping me off $35. I'd rather you burn me $35 today rather than a few thousand in the future which you will not have the opportunity to do now.

  Very poor service. Did not clean out room ac unit. There was a layer of bugs on outside of unit. Front was not taken off to clean inside where motor is. Charged 60.00 for this lousy service. Would not recommend this business to anyone.

  Had freezer go out needed new switch 2 days later it was fixed.......I use them on my refrigerator ice maker they came out when they said order a new part came back and fixed it......use them again
