  Let me precede this review by stating I typically don’t take the time to write reviews positive or negative. I scheduled the service call a month in advance for the purposes of a yearly maintenance contract. The unit was working well prior to the service call. On the date of service, the techs were 40 minutes late, provided the service on the unit and replaced a part without having a previous conversation with me about price etc. and to get my approval in advance. When I contacted the company to address this /bill and the disappointment that the part that was put on my unit was a part that I myself could’ve purchased and put on for a small fraction of the price, the response I received was less than ideal. The company was not willing to work with me in anyway and was very unwilling to meet in the middle on labor and provided no apologies for the way business was conducted. Good business is calling if your running late, having discussions with clients before working outside of the agreed services which result unanticipated additional costs which were not pre-approved by the homeowner. When I expressed my frustration and change of heart to do a contract I was informed that I had received a discount on the part and they were going to add that discount back in so now I’m being charged even more on the part. I will never use this company again. Customer service was worse than the poor experience itself.

  After having another company come by and check our AC, we called McKinney as our 2nd opinion and really glad we did. Gary from McKinney quoted us on 4 different units to replace our old AC and we researched all of them and compared to McKinney's quotes and found them very reasonably priced. Yesterday, 3 service techs removed the old units and installed the new one we chose - very polite, professional and quick. We would definitely use them again and recommend them.
