  From what I witnessed, the officers were courteous and pleasant. They actually kept the situation calm and respectful without ego or personal opinions interfering. Kudos to the professionalism. Be proud ladies and gentlemen. Thank you for setting the example.

  Lowndes County Sheriff Dpt., a bunch of wonderful people who take care of business in a calm professional manner, you give respect, you get respect. Recently had an ineratcion with a Deputy concerning a family member comitting a crime at SGMC, the Deputy was professional, kind, and after my family member acted like a fool for a few minutes, a stern warning from the Deputy made hom shut up and grow up in an instant. I have nothing but praise for the Lowndes County Sheriff Department.

  More crimes are commited by this jails staff than by the people they lock up. This is not a jail, it is a pyramid scheme to rip off as much as they can from the arrested and their families.
