  Very impressive facility. Easy to get in and out of from the street with ample parking. The facility was well kept and had a neat appearance. The employees were knowledgeable, friendly and kind. They answered all questions I had and allowed me to introduce my dog to the one I was interested in adopting. The building was spacious with plenty of room for the animals. The adoption process was streamlined and easy. I received an information packet with medical history/records as well as helpful info on how to contact them if I had questions after leaving the facility. I was highly impressed with Longview Animal Care and Adoption Center and would recommend it to anyone who is interested in adopting a rescue animal. Animal Services Manager, Chris Kemper has a well run professional facility. The program is a definite asset to the City of Longview and East Texas. Five Stars Plus!

  Found a stray dog in south Longview. After keeping it for a few days I was able to make an appointment and, within 30 mins, reconnect him with his owner! Dog had been missing for three weeks! There are people here doing good work

  They should plainly state on their website, that animals cannot be taken home before they are fixed and chipped. We hoped to take home a kitten, we couldn't even touch them. And there were only 4.
