    We had 2 units go out within months of each other. Sheila was quick on getting some guys out to install both units. Will recommend to anyone. Great business to deal with.

    WATCH OUT! Lockwood Refrigeration sent a tech to our house to inspect the property for potentially buying (2ea) 22KW Generac generators for our house. The tech told us that they had just received 10 generators from Generac and they had already sold 6 of them. We were happy that they had some in stock as they are hard to find. We explained what we wanted and he wrote up a work ticket (he called it a bid) for both of them. This bid included all electrical, gas piping and concrete block pad installation. The tech told us that we needed to purchase the propane tanks and have them filled. He proceeded to draft a work order or bid to give us an idea of the costs. My wife and I purchased 2 - 1,000 gallon tanks and had them delivered and filled with propane at a cost of over $10,000. Lockwood told us that we had to install concrete pads (despite the bid saying otherwise) for the generators before they would come out and connect the Generacs. We asked them if they had the Generac pads for the generators and they said they did not. At this point we became very suspicious of Lockwood. We looked around and found 2 Generac 22KW generators for about 1/3 Lockwood’s price, purchased them and had them delivered and installed on concrete pads. We called Lockwood to cancel our work order and spoke with the tech who told us that we would receive our deposit of $4,000 back. Two weeks later, having heard nothing from Lockwood, we called and inquired where our money was. The owner told us we would not be getting our money back. When we asked him why, he told us he had to spend money on shipping our generators and that there was a 20% restocking fee (though the written bid does not address any of this and DID NOT say the deposit was non-refundable). We explained that his tech told us the generators were in stock to which he replied that he was the owner of the company and not to believe his tech. What he says goes, not what his reps say. He insisted that we would not be receiving our deposit back. To this day, Lockwood has not performed anything they said they would do and they still have our $4,000.

    This California Attorney agreed to this project of 2 automatic Standby Generators. A Real Mans Word is his Bond. When a real man makes a promise , he keeps it . He Verbally agreed, signed the invoice which had a down payment of $4000.00 and he signed the check to secure the project. We attempted to install the generators on 1/31/22 at 8:07 am, they declined. This Statement of 1/3 of the price of our invoice is a LIE! The cost of the units is more than that.

    Had the compressor on myrefrigeration unit go bad a couple years ago that they had installed. So I called and they offered to put a new one on but wanted 500$ more than the guy I used. But they ordered the compressor already. So I offered to come pick it up and pay for it. Receptionist was rude and the owner cussed at me on the phone. When I was nothing but nice. Then called today to ask what type of Freon they originally used because it’s low. A similar situation happened. So moral of the story if you like over paying, and don’t mind dealing with an owner whos rude they’re the place to go!

    There was never any cussing or rudeness- You had another company do the job and we have no Knowledge of what refrigerant HE used. If it is low on refrigerant your guy did not do a very good job and now it has leaked out. We never cuss at anyone, and the secretary was not rude, you were just mad we did not have your information from YOUR refrigeration man.
