  Definitely one of the best cooling lakes in Illinois... if you can get past hiking. You can Target multiple species depending on where you start. Between the hot and the cold side, gravel or Sandy Bottom, drop-offs deep holes and flats excellent fishing from a boat and great fishing from Shore.

  Beautiful area, decent fishing. Clean and well kept. Larger vessels (28+) may find the parking ramp a little small- but still usable.

  Always a great time cat fishing. There was even beautiful wildlife.
