  Some people here in the community does not have to pay their fair share of taxes. I know several but one in particular is Fred Eanes. He does not have to pay taxes on two of his 40 foot conex's nor his huge carport. ON his other properties under horizon farms he is also getting a free ride. I know he almost had to pay went in and complained. He got by with harassing women with only a slap on the wrist whereas most would of had disorderly conduct and now he doesnt have to pay but very very little taxes. Another government man that does not have to pay but I will not mention his name on here. The tax office is very bias and refuses to correct problems that do rise in a timely manner. They are acting like they are starving money hungry but only to a handful of citizens

  I have a truly unusual project I'm trying to put together, and of the many counties I've considered for the pilot year, Las Animas County seems to provide a unique combination of accessibility and creativity. The friendliness and open mind of the assessor's office has been a major factor in something special that I hope will benefit our state!

  I needed some information on where a fire department was today. Tammy was very helpful despite it being difficult to locate. She was pleasant and provided good service.
