  Lanny Adams (no relation) used to be the benchmark in A/C repair. I used them for several years and referred many a friend and family member to them. They would always call a day or so after your service appointment to see how things went; just top notch customer service and the pricing was always more than reasonable. I don’t know when it occurred but sometime after Mr. Adams passed away the business was sold, however the new company retained use of the Lanny Adams name. The last time I needed A/C repair I called “Lanny Adams” and they sent a technician out. He was completely in over his head and said my unit could not be repaired and offered to sell me another unit. When he gave me the invoice, $175 dollars later, I noticed the different company name. My instincts told me to pursue da second opinion and they were able to assess the A/C problem and repair my unit for $325; no replacement unit needed. Thereafter, I called the new “Lanny Adams” in the hopes that I could get at least some of my money refunded and they flatly said no. I had been a customer for several years but will never, ever use them again. I’ve already told my family and friends who I referred to them over the years. I don’t know whose decision it was to sell but I imagine Mr. Adams would be rolling over in his grave if he knew how they were tarnishing his stellar reputation as an honest and trustworthy business focused on the customer.

  My wife and I have used Lanny Adams a few times over a period of several years. My wife had a rental house for some time, and I have a rental apartment. When one of our renters has a problem with an oven, washing machine, or dryer, we call Lanny Adams and they take care of it. I have never felt they did unnecessary work, and things stay fixed. The technician calls me from the job site to tell me what's happening. They coordinate with the tenant. I arrange payment over the phone. Done and done. Call these good folks.

  I called Lanny Adams recently to fix my washing machine. They were exceptional! They were very honest and worked quickly. I'm very thankful for how they managed to work with me. I would definitely suggest using them.
