  I had Lake Effect replace my AC unit in August of 2020 and it worked fine for the few times I used it until Fall. When I tried to use it in May of 2021 the unit would not cool the house. I made several attempts to reach Lake Effect to have the unit looked at and they never asnwered or returned a call. I left over a dozen messages over a months time. Due to being in the process of selling the house I really needed it fixed and would have loved them to have honnored the 1 year warranty on the work they had done. I had another company come out and do the work and it was discovered that a coupler was over tightened on install and had broke causing all the coolant to leak out. This service cost $666 out of pocket and should have been done under warranty from Lake Effect. Due to the poor customer service and sub par work they did, I had to pay. I did attempt to contact Lake Effect in regards to this matter as well and once again nothing. I would not recommend Lake Effect to anyone. If you want the work done right and the company to honnor the warranty do not use Lake Effect.

  I was recommended this company by a co worker. The first time the furnace got repaired it worked for couple days and went out again so I had to call them back..furnace worked good after that until that really bad windy and cold day.. I tried to call the company and always get a voicemail I never got a callback even after leaving a message ...so after almost 2 weeks I called back again and left a message this time they called me back. They finally came out to repair it I was charged and the next night when I really needed it it didn’t work..I called again and like always got a voicemail but this time can’t even leave a message it says box is full. So here I am with no working furnace and no way to get ahold of them

  I've actually used this company 2 times, once for the furnace and today for the A/C. The AC wasnt cooling the house and there was a water puddle in the basement, they came out the same day and got my A/C cooling again, I am one happy fat girl 😊.
