LaChance serviced our air conditioner after the compressor went out during a very hot week in August. The owner came out the same day we called and, even though a large portion of the repair wasn't going to be covered under the manufacturers warranty, ordered the part and returned THE VERY SAME WEEK so that we wouldn't have a miserably hot and humid weekend to live through. Even more amazing was that once they discovered that the only way we could afford to pay for the labor and refrigerant was with a credit card that they didn't accept, they took the initiative to call the CC company and set themselves up as a merchant that same afternoon. After the work was finished very late in the day and our system was up and running well we were presented with a bill that was LESS than originally estimated! We're extremely pleased with this reliable company and will be using their services from now on.

Details.... it took 4 calls to get an appointment cause they "forgot" to call back. When they did show up the guy wouldnt chrage the unit cause their could be bugs in the copper lines, without actually checking, just assuming. Said it would be around $575 and it was a waste of money. If your getting paid to do the job then do it even of the customer knows the risk of it failing. I was willing to pay there on the spot but he wouldn't solder the copper line together and put freon in even tho I was willing to pay and knowing it might go out in a day or week or year. If the lines are not out on dry ground they wont crawl underneath to get them and get dirty. Just my opinion but I wouldnt waste any time calling Lachance, they probably wont call back but if they do then you still may not get done what you want even if your paying what they want in cash

My grandmother (88 years old) has been without heat for 2 days. She has called and my parents has called multiple times. Yet no answer. I dont know about you, but that is just not cool (pun not attended).
Response from the owner
We are a small family owned business. The owner is the only technician and had major back surgery yesterday. This area has several one man companies. I would recommend calling another company at this time for you needs. We are sorry we could not provide the quick service you expected.
