A simple fix took them a month to handle. They ordered the part and it arrived within a week and scheduled the dryer to be fixed 3 weeks later. Upon fixing it the tech left the dryer vent unhooked so I a mother of 2 very young kids still could not use the dryer. (Yes I could have fixed it but they were paid to complete the job).Tried calling them all day long and the following day and got busy sign. The 2nd tech that came did not wear a mask. Our dryer was in the garage. We have a medically fragile infant and he took it upon himself to not wear a mask because we were not nearby. Very poor professionalism. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Any time I called to get a update(because they never called me to do so) they acted like they didnt know what I was talking about and would put me on hold for a while to retrieve whatever information. At one point they had to call me back. Which occurred 6 plus hours later. I sure hope in the future American Home shield contracts with another company.

I have never in my life dealt with a company that cared less or was more unprofessional. They came out to fix my washing machine, after almost a month of trying to get it taken care of, only to have CLEARLY NOT fixed it. The washing machine is doing the same exact thing and giving the same error code. I tried to call them back since there is a 90 day warranty on the part. The receptionist was nice but didn't really know what was going on so she put Angie "the manager" on the phone. I have never experienced a call with "management" like this one, she was very rude and didn't even care about my concerns. Instead of standing behind their work she was down right mean and told me to just find someone else. It is a shame that we as consumers cannot support a local business because of the treatment that is CLEARLY standard for this company.

Kinston Refrigeration came out over a month and a half ago to look at our stove. They said they'd need to order a part. Should take a week or two. Ok. Cool. I have not heard a word from them since they came out here December 10th, aside from me calling them. I've called every Friday starting at the beginning of the year and they still don't know where this piece is. They actually mentioned they didn't order it until the first week of the new year, two whole weeks after they already came out. By the time they finally get around to it our warranty will be expired. I asked if I could go ahead and cancel and get another company to do it because I've already waited almost 2 months and they said I'd still have to pay for them coming out, and ordering the part, even though I never agreed to wait this long for it to come in. Long story short, if you need anything fixed, don't call them. I'm so over it 😅 Update: They called 2 or 3 days after I threated to cancel the order/not pay and they came out and fixed it. Turns out, my stove didn't even need a new screen plate like they originally said, so waiting the 2 months was pointless. It was a wire that fused with another, that both needed to be replaced. Wires which they have in stock always. I couldn't cook for Christmas or New Years for literally no reason 😅 Don't call them! Paying for the fixes out of pocket is worth it just to avoid dealing with this company!
