  Had a freeze in heating baseboard Refused to fix because there was debris on the porch from clean up the night before. I’m a 20+ year landlord and have never had a company refuse to do such a simple task. So unprofessional and I plan on telling everyone I know of this experience

  Sorry for the inconvenience of our company stopping by to access the job and not wanting to take it on. The working conditions were unsafe and unsanitary for our employees to perform their duties properly. Not only was there garbage all over but there was no access to the basement without having to dig your way to the door through piles of sheetrock and debris. Wish we could post pictures so people could really see the conditions. We did come down on our own time as you were never charged for our visit. Again sorry for the inconvenience.

  Do NOT buy a generator from Kool Temp; they are not an authorized Generac dealer. I bought one from them for an elderly friend. They wired it incorrectly so that the first time it ran for the weekly check it blew out the wiring. They didn’t know how to fix it. We had to pay $635 to get it workable. The controller was NOT the reason my generator stopped generating power for the house. The cable connecting the generator to the transfer module was dangling in mid air, not connected to anything. Your technical people had been here and had diagnosed the controller as the problem. Why didn't they notice that the cable was just dangling? And why when I spoke with the Generac Headquarters did they tell me you were NOT on their list of certified authorized dealers?

  Thank you for purchasing 2 generators from us. The first generator we installed for you at your house on 8/28/18. There were no service calls on that one until 4/16/21 when our certified technician went out and diagnosed a bad controller. We ordered the controller under warranty. In the process of getting back out there you called us claiming that we are not authorized and hung up on our receptionist. At that point we sent the part back and it was your choice to pay someone else. I can assure you that our technician does have a technician number and attended the Generac school in Wisconsin. We have you purchasing another generator from us. We sent our certified tech our on 3/25/21 and diagnosed a bad existing generator. We quoted a new one on 3/26/21 and installed a new one on 4/2/21. We started up the unit and set the exercise timer for a weekly on cycle. The unit ran fine and we have not been back to that one since. If the wiring was faulty it would have shown up upon start up. Not sure what wiring blew out but you never gave us the chance to replace the defective controller that failed after 3 years. Sorry for any misunderstandings.
