My technician was extremely professional and knowledgeable He went out of his way to see that my furnace was repaired, even after he worked all day and fit me in at the end of the day. He communicated very well ahead of and during appointments. I will be recommending them to all of my friends and family. The office communicates clearly and professionally as well. Their cost was more than reasonable and did not take advantage of my old furnace and talk me into more than I needed to be done (as a single mom, I appreciated this). They were a dream to work with.

Komfort staff was very professional and offered excellent customer service. I appreciated they had staff available for a phone consult on a Friday evening, who were able to provide advice and address my concerns. I also appreciated the technicians promptness and ability to quickly diagnose the issue with my heating system.

I've had a very disappointing experience with Komfort Heating and Cooling. The blower motor went out on my furnace. In my opinion they over charged me. The motor was $129. The tech took less than 1 hour to install it and the bill was $601! When I inquired what their charge was per hour was I was told they charge by the job not the time. The motor lasted all of three weeks. I then decided to order a new furnace from a different company. When I called Komfort to complain they said they would come and take the defective motor they installed and I would be reimbursed $300 or half of what I paid. I agreed. They credited my credit card less than what they said. Before this all started I asked for a quote for a new Carrier a/c compressor and A coil. They gave me a price that was far higher than what I paid for a better unit from a different company. I would NOT recommend this company! Response to Komfort: Thanks for responding to my review. However, I'm disappointed you did not address my complaint. When I called to say that the motor did not work, the person on the phone told me Komfort would credit my card $300. After the motor was taken out of the furnace, the amount was suddenly reduced. In addition, the reason I did not ask for a quote for a new furnace is that I did receive a quote for a new A/C system when the blower motor was originally installed. Your quote was significantly higher for a lower model Carrier system. It was clear to me from the amount charged for replacing the motor and the quote for the AC unit that your company is significantly higher than your competitors.

Hi Bill, We refunded you half the cost of the parts, not half of your overall bill, because only the part was faulty, not our diagnosis. Our diagnostic fee is a standard charge on all repair jobs. Had you contacted us about the faulty part before calling another company to replace your whole furnace, we could have applied the money you already spent toward a brand-new system or replaced the motor at no charge because it was under warranty. Instead, we didn’t hear from you for three weeks after the repair, and by then you had decided to work with a different business.
