We had an issue with our home warranty policy (Liberty Home Guard- I would not recommend them) not covering the repair cost for our AC. I spoke with Kent, the owner of KK Air Conditioning about this issue and he went above and beyond to resolve the matter. Not only was the customer service top notch but the cost of the repairs were significantly less than what other AC repair companies quoted us. I'd HIGHLY recommend KK and will definitely be reaching out to them the next time we have any future AC issues. Mahalo!

I called and was able to get an appointment for my split AC units to be cleaned and maintenance within 1 week. Their prices are affordable and comparable to other companies on the island. I will be using them again next year and for any repairs/maintenance needed!

What can I say? Kent and his crew are great. KK Air Conditioning “Keeping Kool” was one of the few (as well as the first) to actually get back to the various requests for a quote that we’ve sent out. I’m assuming business must be booming for others not to reply. Too bad for them, a win for Kent and definitely a win for me and my family. Kent came by to do a consultation and get measurements for a quote the day after we first had contact, on a Saturday no less, to install a new 30,000 btu split A/C system. He had a very reasonably quote ready for us the following night with three different options in A/C brands which included the complete installation. After carefully comparing the info sheets that he provided together with the quote, reading online reviews, we picked a Daikin split A/C and sent the info back to Kent. An appointment was made a day later for the following week. From first contact to installation in 10 days. That was way faster than expected, but definitely a welcoming factor as we’re still seeing some hot and humid days. According to my temperature meter, it is currently 99.7F outside and a nice 82F inside! The installation itself took a day. Because of how our home was built (for example, our home has an extension added to it that added some difficulties), and because we must follow association rules (nothing visible above fencing, for example) as well as the fact that we needed to keep certain space clear for a solar + battery installation that will follow soon, there was no real good way to get the various piping running entirely out of view. The solution that we came up with was to place a small stretch of cable gutter (or whatever it’s called) from the inside unit to the area where it could enter the ceiling (behind the inside unit was not possible). As you can see in the photo that I added to this review, the outcome was not bad at all. Besides the great service we received, I have to say we also love the inside unit which came with a wide arrange of features like various timers, comfort settings, economy settings, 3D airflow etc. etc. We couldn’t be happier, it is something we should have done years ago! If you are ever in the business of getting a new A/C, Kent’s business is definitely worth checking out!
