  I was having issues with my water having a lot of sediment in the water. I called them for an appointment and was told they would put a ticket in. I was never giving a time or date as to when they could fit me in. Fast forward a couple weeks I never heard from them so I decided to call them back. I spoke with a different person on the phone who did not have any information that I had already called and was told they would put a ticket in for me. I explained my situation again and was told again they would put a ticket in. I once again was never giving a time or date as to when they would come out. A couple weeks later I get a random call on a week day that they can fit me in that day. Lucky for me I was off that day so it worked out. The plumber came over and took a look at what my system was. He was nice and professional. I informed him I know nothing about plumbing and even less about well water coming from city living. I explained I looked online and talked to a neighbor who said a spin down filter solved their problem. I have no idea if it would solve mine. The plumber installed a spin down filter and told me he wasn't sure that would even be enough. Before installing I asked what the cost would be to have the filter put in. He could not give me a price. I got my bill and it was $327. From my understanding this is a common price range for a plumber to come out. My issue is that the issue is not fixed, a water sample was never obtained like I was told they could do, and now I'm out $300 with the same issue I had before they came out. I have a dates system and understand they did what they could but I was giving very little information as to what the issue might be or how to find out. I wish the filter worked better...or at all to solve my problem but such is life. My biggest issue is the time it took for someone to come out and their lack of setting up an appointment when you call. Having to call multiple times before getting someone to put a ticket in is also not great customer service. I do appreciate they answer the phone when you call compared to so many other places in the area who don't but their scheduling could use some work.

  Thank you Roy for coming out this morning (12/27) to fix our furnace which went out on Sunday (Christmas Eve). When we couldn’t get it to work, it was nice to know you were able to get it going. It’s been working great and our dog really seemed to like you, thanks for being so nice to her. My Dad was right to recommend John Filbrandt Plumbing & Heating. Called for help on Tuesday, late afternoon (12/26) and received help by 8am (12/27).
