  Our experience with J & S has been nothing but a nightmare!! We called J & S because of their 5-star rating and thought they were a reputable company. Obviously, they contract with certain contractors for certain areas. Unfortunately, we must be in an area that gets poor service, poor quality workmanship, poor communication, lack of honesty and integrity, to say the least! Our journey with J & S started on September 6, 2021 and finally ended on September 14 with us feeling that we had been sold a “bill of goods.” We needed a water heater replaced and needed a HVAC company to fill in spacing above the existing heater prior to installation. Well, after an arduous and frustrating beyond measure week, the tech finally appeared and supposedly completed the job. Today, September 21, 2021, we are being told by the company installing the water heater that the work was not done correctly OR completely and we will need to get someone to come out and correct it! Doesn’t sound like 5-star service to us!! NOW, we have to, hopefully, find a real reputable company to come out and correct what J & S’s tech botched up. More money out of our pockets, but a valuable lesson learned. Don’t believe reviews that are too good to be true! In addition, my husband went to the address listed for J & S and there was no such company at that address! The address belonged to a metal company. (See attached photo) PLEASE, thoroughly check out these type of companies before deciding to use their services!

  I was a little concerned that the technician did not wear a face mask when interacting with us. He stated that a face mask was hot and uncomfortable to wear while working. I suggest that the technician wear a mask while communicating with customers and remove the mask while working. This is especially important to our family since I have a very serious lung disease.

  I have been using J&S Commercial HVAC Service for several years. Every experience has been great. All of their technicians are very friendly and polite. They give detailed explanations for their recommendations and I feel completely confident with the service I receive. This was my first time calling this company and I would have no concerns recommending them.
