  Easy to work with and knows what they are doing. I am happy with the quality work they did when my furnace went bad and my house was at 53 degrees. I called them and it was a lady on the phone that was very patient and had great customer service. I felt peace of mind with the work they did and now my furnace is fixed and my family is in a warm home. Definitely recommend J & N Electric.

  Being that I am Hispanic, and apparently according to John(the owner) and his apprentice. I over heard them saying they could upcharge me. I told them I didn’t like the price too much, and asked if I could get help from someone else. They then said that their service fee was $250 dollars. I called another hvac company and they were going to charge me, half of what J and N was charging me. Only problem was that j and n had taken the old part with them on purpose to make it harder for the next guy. I would not recommend them.

  We haven't worked for a person with this name. We would NEVER say or do something so offensive! We strive to give quality service at a competitive rate.

  I am a contractor in southeast iowa. I called to get a quote for electric and plumbing for an addition I was doing. I asked when they thought they could get to it and they said that they have no idea. I asked not even a rough estimate like sometime this week, sometime next week. Their response very bluntly was NOPE! 2 days later they got a hold of my customer and said they would be there tomorrow aka Friday. Never heard anything and now it's Wednesday. So I have to find someone else and it has pushed my job back at least a week an a half. VERY unprofessional! It's called a planner, you get one from walmart and you use it to map out your work schedule and appointments. I hear they do really good work but it's getting them there to get a quote to do the work that I'm giving a thumbs down.
