  I have had personal interaction with Insource on a number of different levels: as a homeowner who purchased a rooftop solar & heart pump installation from them, as a church property committee person considering a large rooftop installation and as a member of an active environmental advocate community. All of those experiences and interactions with Insource have been outstanding. As a homeowner, I was delighted with the worker/owners who did the work. They were friendly, efficient, patient with our questions and very considerate as they went about the installation. Workmanship was great. They were very concerned that we were happy with the job. Regarding the potential church installation, Vaughan was very responsive to our needs and questions and was thorough in laying out concerns, pros and cons and options. As a citizen actively concerned about the environment, I/we often call on Vaughan who is a well-informed and articulate advocate for sustainable energy and for the environment in general. He has an engineer's understanding of the way things work and he can explain in laymen's terms. In addition, many of my acquaintances are Insource customers and I have heard nothing but praise for the people and the company.

  I had a great experience with Insource Renewables. What tipped the scales for me over competitors was the option of having the custom made shed from Backyard Buildings with part of my solar array pre-mounted and brought to the site. All of the staff and crew of both organizations are top notch. When I have had a question or an issue, they have been resolved very quickly and professionally. My system works exactly as planned, including the heat pump/air conditioner, which is a great addition to my home. Actually, just running it on dehumidify was all I needed to make the house extremely comfortable for 90% of the hot summer we just had. Rarely did it need to be on AC. Previously, this house had been unpleasantly hot in the summer months. I am a happy camper all around and would recommend Insource Renewables to anyone interested in going solar in Maine!

  I hired INSOURCE RENEWABLES to install a rooftop solar system and heat pump at my residence in July 2018. Everyone on the team was a joy to deal with, from initial consultation to final installation and assistance dealing with my electric utility regarding the net metering agreement. I was so satisfied that I had another heat pump installed at my seasonal camp. I compared competing price quotes from competent vendors and Insource was the lowest. All work was done efficiently on the day promised to the highest possible standard, with the team taking the initiative to check in on my preferences regarding installation choices. I was so impressed with the electrician on the jobs, that I have hired her for other work I need done. While I expect no problems with any of these high-quality systems, I know Insource will be there if there are any issues that come up during the life of either system. You will not regret selecting Insource Renewables for either solar or heat pump installations.
