  Wish I would have read the reviews before I had service done. Indian Rocks A/C installed my unit originally and I thought they did a good job but what do I know I’m not an a/c person. The ac recently stopped working and we called and had them come out to do a service on the unit. They came out a couple days later. When they started working on the unit I asked if they could do an actual service on the unit because it had not been done in a while and it was full of leaves (that can’t be good for it running very efficiently) they said they would. So a couple minutes later they bring me a small electric box( some sort of capacitor) and try to show me how it’s blackened and melting, I look at it and I don’t see any black from sparks it actually looks fairly new to me just a bit of use on a metal piece down inside. I go ahead and let them change it for $89. and I got taken just like the review by Jerry Welch charged $89 for a $9 part. Then after they where gone (which was only a couple minutes after showing me the part) I took a closer look at the unit and it was still full of leaves. And I noticed all the wires dangling out the back. I had similar wires hanging of the unit inside the house. I looked at some of my neighbors units and none had wires exposed. I called the company to complain, explained to lady my issue and she told me I would have to call back another day. Well I will not be calling them back for anything. Would not recommend this company.

  About 5 years ago they replaced my main AC units for about $5500. I had an issue last year and had them come out and replace a piece of drain pipe that was supposedly clogging up and causing issues. Now again this year it stopped working and I couldn’t get ahold of their office at all. I called and left a message but nobody has called me back now for 2 days. I have called several times and nobody ever answers the phone. I finally asked a different company to look at my ac. I found out that when they originally installed my units, they reused all old parts with it including the compressor and pipes and copper wires, etc so nothing was working correctly. Well the compressor broke and all the coolant ran out and the repairs alone would have been over $3500. And that’s just a temporary fix. Then I would have to buy a new compressor and coolant is super expensive… so I’m going to end up trashing everything and starting over and replacing everything!!! This time for another $10,000 thanks a lot Indian Rocks cooling!!! Waste of money!!

  Steve and Bob are amazing! True professionals who are extremely knowledgeable. We have always been treated more than fair. My In-laws use them as well and have always been completely satisfied! Can’t say enough good things.
