      I love Hometowne Energy! From initial setup, to friendly reminder calls when I forget to pay, and the very down to earth and transparent communication sent out in email, I think Hometowne is great. There is a very personal feel. I have no complaints and no desire to go anywhere else for my propane!

      Picture a seasonal home; Fill tank in the summer. Leave tank alone in the winter. That's exactly what you ask for. However, Hometowne will fill the tank in the winter and let it run empty in the summer. Hometowne does this because the tank leaks. You take a picture of the fuel level in the fall and compare it to the spring. Hometowne will fill the tank in the winter and charge you for the leaky tank. Hometowne will not fill a tank in the summer when you are actually using propane. Because it makes you feel like Hometowne is actually trying to do something.

      I'm usually happy with Hometowne, but not so much this last time. When we had the power outage several weeks ago, my generator ran for 48 hours and consumed 93 gallons of propane. I was concerned that I might run out, so I called the office to request a delivery. No delivery came , so I called again. No delivery, so I might have called them a third time, I'm not sure. Then I went on the website and sent a message via Feedback. No delivery, so I again went on the website and requested a delivery, but no delivery came. And, no response from Feedback or the request for delivery. I then went to the office and explained the problem. They checked and told me that a delivery was scheduled for today. Finally a delivery was made. It seems to me that 2-3 phone calls, Feedback, request for delivery, and a trip to the office should not have happened. This initial phone call should have been enough to get a delivery made. This is an usual situation, but it should not have happened. Review your procedures so this doesn't happen again.
