  We first contacted Phil last winter, when our nearly 20-year-old furnace stopped working in the middle of the night. He arrived within hours and had our heat up and running again quickly. This year, it was a few days before Christmas when I arrived home in the late afternoon to discover our furnace had stopped working again. Phil was at our door in less than two hours and confirmed what we expected--it was time to replace the furnace. He made a special trip back to his shop in order to retrieve several space heaters to help our family stay warm through the night, and returned the next morning (after rearranging his schedule) in order to install our new unit. Phil and his team were knowledgeable, efficient, friendly, and they left our home immaculate. They took time to explain everything and answer any questions at all points throughout the process. They even returned to our home after installation and once I had arrived home from work in order to walk through the work completed and provide an overview of the new thermostat. They are transparent in pricing, and handled all of our rebate paperwork for the new furnace and AC unit to be installed this spring. Phil and his team provide truly exceptional service. We will continue to rely on them for all our heating and cooling needs, and would recommend them without reservation to anyone. We are immensely grateful for the quality of their work, and for their ability to turn an objectively very stressful situation into a smooth and easy process.

  Holmin Heating & Cooling was able to come install a new app based thermostat the day after I called. Nick was professional, conversational while he kept working, and walked me through the app and functionality of the thermostat after he had it in. This was done on a really cold day in MN and he only had our furnace down for about 30 minutes so the house stayed warm. Whenever I work with them the price is reasonable. I'm happy to pay for their skills. I call Holmin Heating & Cooling for all our HVAC needs and they are always responsive and thorough. These guys are the best in the business!

  Excellent service! Appreciate the consultative and educational approach with complete transparency in a much needed replacement of our HVAC system. Phil and team were professional , listeners of our needs and problem solvers from quote to planning to selecting best fitting Carrier brand equipment to installation itself. He added further value by taking care of a couple smaller system needs without charge. And has been same-day responsive to a recent small heating issue which was quickly resolved. I highly recommend Holmin Heating!
