  My home warranty company American Home Shield assigned my washer repair to HBC Mechanical Contracting Company on 1/17/22. I reached out to them on 1/18/22 to get them scheduled to do the repair and Gary stated they would be at my house on 1/20 between 8am -noon. No one showed, so I called on Friday the 21st to find out why no one showed up and when I could reschedule but no one returned my voice mail. I then contacted American Home Shield to see if they could find out why HBC didn't show and when they would reschedule. AHS was unable to reach HBC but told me that I should expect a call from them within 24 hrs. I finally was able to reach HBC on 1/25 only to be told that I was put back into the "rotation" and that I should contact AHS to find out what was going on. From the other reviews here, HBC seems to be a good contractor, but I'm not sure why they seemed very helpful and professional when I first spoke to them, but then decided it wasn't good customer service to contact a customer to explain why they didn't make an appointment and not return my voice mails to explain anything to me. I should not have had to reach back out to my home warranty company to get an answer. Poor customer service in my opinion all the way around. I hope I'm an anomaly and not the norm. Update 2/5/22 Mike came out and fixed my washer on a Saturday. He was very friendly and courteous and didn’t leave until I checked everything out. It’s now running great. The communication over the last week was spot on!

  I used HBC for a complete air conditioning and heating overhaul. They helped me find an affordable system that met my needs and was much more efficient than my old one. With the combination of the system they installed and switching out my single pane windows, I'm saving hundreds per year in heating and cooling bill. The team was courteous and respectful and I really felt they were looking for the best solutions for me.

  Came in the middle of a terrible winter storm. Drove 30 miles to get my furnace back up and running with 0 degree outside temp. Grateful for him. Would highly recommend.
