The technician was cordial and task oriented. His c02 machine had low batteries, which I was able to loan him. He was prompt in returning my batteries. However, he was 20 minutes late for the scheduled appointment. I tried to call to reschedule due to a cold, but was told the homeowner was the only one who could cancel an appointment and she disregarded my desires to reschedule also. The receptionist said the only required task that day was a CO2 reading, taking "only a few minutes." This was inaccurate. It was an hour until his vehicle left my driveway, blocking the landlord from leaving, and causing me to miss an important appointment. The receptionist was also somewhat rude when I called to inform her that the technician had left behind his duct tape, in her suggestion s as well to where I could leave it for him to recover. He never came back for it.

Had problems with my heater and the owner gave me a few options to keep us warm. He was very transparent and honest with me. I could tell he has the integrity that many are looking for in a business owner. Technicians were very professional and courteous. Had the job finished the next day and even came back to Nevada for a minor issue. Very fair and competitive pricing. Highly recommend this company over the soulless big box HVAC services around Ames. Truly puts the customer first!

I manage a chiropractic office, and we had our air conditioner go out and we had used CONVERSE AIR previously so we called them, and it took days for them to come out and look at it. When we finally got someone out we were given 3 options pay almost 2k for a leak check, buy a new air conditioner for about 5k, or replace the freon. We filled it with 4 lbs a few years ago and knew we had a SMALL leak. So adding a few lbs of freon seemed like the best choice. Not more than 2 weeks later ALL our freon was gone again. So after $900.00 to replace what we lost we were now back to square one. So we called Converse back and they said once again it would be about a week before they could get us in. So we called around and found Harvest Heating and cooling, and they came out THAT DAY, not more than 3 hours later, diagnoised the leak in the first 10 min he was here, determined it was in a spot that couldn't be fixed, so we set up install for 3 days later of our new unit. In the mean time he recharged our unit with used freon to get us through. He was amazingly helpful, quick, and understood what it meant for a business to have to turn away 50+ people a day due to it being 98 degrees in the office with no air flow. HARVEST HAS OUR LOYALTY going forward.
