Update: I’m changing my low rating because I just spoke with Marty about the problem I had with communication with the technicians and he was understanding and apologetic. He offered an adjustment to the bill which seems like a fair call considering the first technician did help as much as he was able. I called early December to have an electrical issue looked at and repeatedly stressed that it was the main reason for my call. As a side note I asked if the technician would be able to look at my furnace because it has trouble getting started every winter, but having said that I repeated that the main reason I was calling was to have the electrical issue dealt with. Long story short, no one ever came to look at the electrical. Two guys came for the furnace. When it was done I still had electrical issues and although they got the furnace motor unstuck, nothing resolvable came from that visit. I was never given a cost estimate for parts or replacement of the furnace. I was billed almost $300 for two techs to agree that my furnace needed repaired or replaced but received no useful solution to the issue. A week later I had to shut off the furnace and propane due to an exhaust leak and spent the winter using space heaters until the coldest day in February when that electrical issue that wasn’t looked at recurred and we no longer had power for the space heaters upstairs. I cut out details to shorten my story. There were circumstances that prevented me from taking more action at the time. I’m disappointed that this was the company I chose to help me with my electrical problems as I had one shot and chose poorly.

Amanda, Apologies for any confusion on our part that caused you any trouble. During September, we struggled following the derecho with all of the emergency work we encountered. Still, we should not have left you wondering. I appreciate you taking the time to talk to me today on the phone and hope you will consider us again in the future.

We paid Hardon's to install laterals a few years ago. 10 months later, our septic system was not working properly. They came out to check it, capped off all but one line because there was water coming in, and left. We talked to them several times afterward and they were not interested in continuing to work on the system until it actually worked. We had to pay another company to dig up over half of what Hardon's installed to fix the system. Would not recommend their services.

Hi Bri, this is Marty Hardon. I'm saddened to hear you went elsewhere to solve the problem. At our last visit, you had another contractor there trying to abate the moisture issue and had made modifications to the land in an attempt to remedy the ground water issue. I would have been happy to help in continuance, but apparently you felt it necessary to go elsewhere. I wish I could have helped you. Best of luck in the future.
