My party of 7 arrived on a Saturday. This place was quite busy. We were able to have some cocktails and Quaff On beer, while we waited for our table at the restaurant. There was a band playing (indoors), the whole atmosphere was nice and we all had a good time. I wouldn't hesitate to stop in while visiting Brown County.

We had so much fun on the Get Lost ATV Tour this weekend! Their whiskey and beer were absolutely delicious and the candied bacon bomb burger was out of this world! I cannot wait to come back! Our tour guide Margot was so much fun and very knowledgeable!

A MUST

We stopped by Hard Truth on a whim, on our way to Bardstown.

Boy, are we glad we did.

Hard Truth makes a great first impression. From its rolling hills, to its gates, the entrance sets the stage.

The Welcome Center is open and full of quality merch. Travis gave a great tour, while also happening to look like Santa.

Tasting was standard. Good blend of drinks but could have used a palate cleanser.

Hard Truth really shined with the dinning experience. Great food. Good prices. Good services.

Even better, it was a slow day so we had the chance to meet the owners. What a great story. Jim and Jeff are delightful. They’ve built something special with a high quality product and inventive marketing (look up Indiana Rye).

This was our first trip but won’t be our last!

Toasted  Coconut this an excellent drink to have on ice. The taste is a true statement for the name. Hard Truth has a opportunity to be a respectful brand on a national and international presentation. The flavor is captivating and is a true tropical drink. 👍🏼👍🏼thumbs up. Going to try additional it is worth the cost on this one. Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!

We really like Hard Truth. Love the location and atmosphere. But they are consistently inconsistent. We usually get the same things: pulled pork nachos and burgers. But we have a completely different experience every time we go. One time the place is packed and our food comes quickly. Or the place is packed and it’s a 2 hour wait. Or like tonight, we’re the 3rd table there, just before the dinner rush at 4:30, and it takes a full hour to get our meal. And tonight my husband got the tavern fries (which we love!), he was up charged for them and then got a tiny amount in comparison to others at our table with regular fries.
We will go back, but don’t expect to do anything else with your evening- you’re committed to Hard Truth for the whole evening once you’re there. And who knows what the experience will be like?
