a vein burst while I was sleeping in my ankle and I probably bled for an hour on my ankle before I even knew it, I was passing in and out of consciousness trying to find my cellphone. Luckily I called 911 and Adair Ambulance picked me up. I would have died if I didn't have my local ambulance service - I was so happy with all of them and they all seemed liked friends I would have even if we hadn't met me as a 300lb nude body covered in blood. I remember being drug through my house passing in and out. They all made sure that I was as comfortable that I could be. Covered in liters of blood, sweat, vomit and a lil pee probably they took care of me. My gratitude to the good-humored Dr's, RN, ARNP's, drivers, EMT's, etc, etc ..that kept me laughing and recovering. Thank you all and especially to the Missouri visiting ARNP Janet Sidebottom. Once I feel a little better, I'll come put on a standup comedy show for you;)

If I could give them a lower rating I would the reason why they even get a star is because I wanted to leave a review. The worse staff in the world it is a joke that they are even still hired. They were suppose to do there job and fallow up or call or something with me instead they sent it straight to collections. My insurance went through but since they already sent it to collections I now have the privilege of looking at a lowers score. I was so close to getting my credit back up. These people completely ruined my life.

I was sent to hospital by poison control on a Sunday. Poison control called and told the staff that I would be up there. As soon as I got there, there was no one at the front desk. The nurse who buzzed me in the doors did not tell me which way to go. I was already scared and now lost and frightened. The nurse's greeting was none at all and made me feel stupid. Once in the room, the nurse seemed liked she didn't quite know what to do. I was told the doctor would be right in and waited for what seemed like ages. While waiting for the doctor the nurse opened the door so my little one could walk right out and wonder. The nurse got my little and a couple toys bringing them back into the room and placing on the bed. When one of the toys was about to be thrown across the room she turned to grab while my little one whipped the opposite direction and twisting off the bed landing head first on that hard lanolium. I jumped up and got to my little one before the nurse who was closer made it to pick little one up. All the nurse did was take a quick glance at forehead saying oh we'll have to keep an eye on that. As soon as the nurse walked out I moved my little one's hair and instantly saw the big red spot and felt a bump forming. Shortly after that the doctor came in wearing the dirtiest look on his face and instantly started talking down to me. It took approximately 2 hours to get the damn ambulance ready to go to Des Moines hospital. I will never in my right mind take someone I love or go to this hospital myself again. This was my first time experience here and they made me feel like I was scum of the earth and completely worthless. My depression was even worse after this tramatic experience. Worst team of providers I've ever met.
