  I am writing this review on behalf of my grandmother. She had a servicing contract with another local company. During the most recent service, the company approached her with a $30k estimate, reporting she needed a new system immediately because of a "cracked heat exchanger" and mentioned the dangers of carbon monoxide leaking...etc. I contacted Grupé HVAC for a second opinion. Our experience was delightful. The staff was friendly, and the technician, James, was knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything and answer all of my grandmother's questions (she had a lot)! We felt we were being treated as if part of their family. James came out and tested for carbon monoxide leaks - none of which were found. He said that the 10 year old system is already high efficiency and no replacement at this time is recommended. I'm so glad we called Grupé HVAC. They are very friendly, honest, and saved my grandmother from frivolously spending her retirement.

  I was certain my home was doomed to a winter of no working heat, but James and his team got our system in working order and replaced our thermostat in a single visit and it's been great ever since. He mentioned making some needed upgrades in the future, and we'll for sure use Grupe HVAC when the time comes.
