  I had purchased almost 10000. Worth of equipment and purchased a little extra to make sure i had enough so i didn't have to go back. So when i returned 195.00 worth of stuff they said you only get store credit when i spent cash. wow. So i will not buy anymore equipment from them .

  I currently own a 2.5 ton unit model number GSZ130301AE. The unit was running fine since I purchased the home in January of 2016 and suddenly froze over and stopped working on June 12th 2016 or at least that is when I noticed could have been sooner I am really not certain. So I contacted the warranty department to find out if it was still within warranty and of course the warranty expired three days prior on June 9th 2016. Was a 5 year warranty FYI so expect to get about 5 years out of this unit and I am honestly not certain how much maintenance if any was done on the unit prior to me purchasing the home. I understand there are dates on a warranty for a reason but to deny someone that is active duty military and recent first time home buyer over a few days to me is ridiculous. There should be some way to help the people that this happens to within reason. Its 3 days! part of which was over the weekend and it had probably been broken for a few days and being a first time home buyer I didn't know what to look for. Customer service and an understanding of when to bend the rules a little is key to making consumers happy.
